Operating instructions
1. Power on: briefly press the "ON/Hold" button to turn on the instrument. Do not insert the test sample into the test slot before turning on, otherwise self-calibration will not be completed.
2. After powering on, when "VLT" displays 100%, and both "UVR" and "IRR" display 0.0%, you can insert the sample into the instruments test slot.
3. Keep the test sample still. The test data will be displayed on the LCD screen. Once the data stabilizes, briefly press the "ON/Hold" button to save the test data (a "Hold" symbol will appear in the upper left corner of the LCD screen) for easy reading.
4. Power off: press and hold the "ON/HOLD" button for 3 seconds and then release. Otherwise, the instrument will automatically shut down after 3 minutes of inactivity. Automatically shuts off after 5 minutes of inactivity.
5. In "Hold" mode, the test data will not change even if the test sample is removed. To perform another measurement, simply short press the "On/Hold" button to cancel "Hold" mode and return to "Measurement" mode.
