8. Simply plug the tester into a powered three-pin outlet. The on-screen display allows you to easily determine the outlets wiring condition and AC voltage. If a wiring error is detected, the orange backlight will illuminate to indicate the wiring error.
9. After plugging the tester into the outlet, the data will automatically lock after three seconds. Once locked, press the unlock button.
10. Press and hold the RCD button for more than 2 seconds. A properly functioning residual current circuit breaker (RCD) should trip and display the trip time. The button indicator will flash, indicating the tripping process is complete. If it does not trip, the residual current circuit breaker is faulty.
11. The instrument automatically shuts down if no operation is performed within 5 minutes of powering on.
