1. For when you have got your hands full Combined with the Keyless-Go function and working with the Automotive Electronic Tailgate, the trunk can be opened simply by waving a foot under a sensor, making it enormously convenient when carrying a load of shopping.
2. Closing the trunk is as easy as pressing a button or waving a foot again to shut the tailgate automatically. We call it STO system (Smart Trunk Opener).

Any vehicle model is suitable for installation as long as it meets the following three requirements:
1. Has an external handle or push-button switch on the trunk (remote controls are not included)
2. Has a power tailgate (either stock or retrofitted) or a spring-loaded tailgate
3. Has keyless entry (PKE) (PKE automatically unlocks the door when the key approaches it)
If criterion 1 is not met: Wiring to the driver''s seat switch is required.
If criterion 2 is not met: Powered tailgates can be kicked open and closed, while spring-loaded tailgates can only be kicked open.
If criterion 3 is not met: The tailgate must be unlocked using the remote control before it can be opened.
